Michelle Meramour

During the writing and publishing process, Michelle discovered another successful author named Michelle Buchanan. This other Michelle Buchanan is a numerologist from New Zealand who works in the same genre, teaches workshops, and has a strong online presence.

A publishing agent advised Michelle to change her name to avoid confusion since both authors shared the same name and worked in the same field. The other Michelle Buchanan was already well-known, and people often confused the two.

After careful thought, Michelle and her husband decided to change her name from Michelle Suzy Buchanan to Michelle Suzy Meramour. Meramour is French for “sea of love,” a meaning that reflects Michelle’s values. Those who know her agree the name suits her well.
